We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Farah Kassam has joined the practice as an associate of Dr. Janet Ip starting Monday, July 19th.
She is accepting new dermatology referrals as of now with a current wait time of 1-2 weeks, for a full spectrum of skin concerns including: routine skin checks, mole patrols, suspicious skin cancers, rashes NYD, acne, rosacea, melasma, eczema, psoriasis, and alopecia.
Dr. Farah Kassam completed her Bachelor of Science degree with a Science Scholar designation and her MD degree at UBC, followed by the UBC Family Medicine Residency Program. She is a family physician with special interest and training in dermatology, having completed numerous dermatology electives across Canada, including the University of Calgary, University of Toronto, University of Ottawa, McMaster University, and Dalhousie University in addition to UBC. She has also worked extensively with Dr. Janet Ip during her training. A published author in the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, she has presented her work at conferences including the UBC Skin Research Day.
